As part of « Mental Illness Awareness Week », October 2-8,  ALPABEM will present, in collaboration with Groupe Artplus, a vernissage for the benefit of families who have to deal with a person’s mental illness. expensive. For the occasion, 25 professional artists will present 25 unpublished works created specifically for this event. (Download the program of the evening to watch the works)

 

« Artists had only one constraint: creating a canvas inspired by mental health, » says ALPABEM director Patrice Machabée.

 

 

In addition to the 20 or so artists present for the event, participants will be able to contemplate or purchase a work by vlogger Mathieu St-Onge , Artist Sabine Eid  and gold medalist at the 27th annual CAPSQ contest, Chantal Léveillé . who will share with the public a very intimate look at mental health through their respective art form.
